BILDCO Upgrades Its Factory in Partnership with CIEC

Abu Dhabi National Building Materials Co. (BILDCO)’s subsidiary, BILDCO Reinforcing Steel Services, has signed a joint management and operations agreement with CIEC Group to manage and develop its reinforcing steel production plant in Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi.

Under the five-year agreement, CIEC will undertake the rehabilitation and operation of the plant using state-of-the-art robotic production lines and advanced industrial technologies, increasing the plant’s production capacity to 700 tons of reinforcing steel per day.

The agreement also includes comprehensive training and development programs for Emirati engineers and employees to support the UAE’s national strategy for industrial localization and the development of local talent.

Rashid Ali Rashid Al Omaira, Chairman of BILDCO, stated:
“This collaboration with CIEC represents a significant step toward upgrading our reinforcing steel plant in Mussafah and equipping it with the latest robotic systems.”

Meanwhile, Wu Fuling, Representative of CIEC, commented:
“We are pleased to partner with BILDCO to develop the plant in line with global operational standards by transferring knowledge, enhancing operational efficiency, and training skilled personnel.”
