Abu Dhabi National Building Materials Co. (BILDCO) has announced the appointment of Shamsa Sulaiman Alfahim as Acting Chief Executive Officer. She will assume the full duties and authorities of the CEO in accordance with the company’s Articles of Association and internal regulations, until a permanent CEO is appointed by the Board.
During its recent meeting, the Board of Directors also resolved to terminate the services of Osama Abdul Harith Abu Bakr from his position as CEO, based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Prior to her appointment, Shamsa Sulaiman Alfahim held the roles of Environmental Protection Officer and Director of Policy and Planning within the company.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews in Scotland
